Crayon Canvas Art

Organize the crayons however you want at the top of the canvas. Heat the crayons with a blow dryer until the colors start to run down.

Stop before it starts to melt to the end of the canvas.

Volia, your own crayon art! I can't wait to try this weekend. I think I am going to use blues & greens and maybe a pop of yellow or purple to go with my decor.

I got this amazing idea from the wonderful Pree Brulee blog. Thanks so much for the genius idea. My friend Ryan from Pursuit of NY is also a big fan of this idea and will be creating one of his own too. His amazing blog is something that I go to often for inspiration.

If you try this be sure to let me know or send me a picture.

Happy almost weekend,
Amy

  1. This is absolutely incredible! Are you supposed to leave the crayons on the board when it's done?

  2. Hey Jen! I think you are supposed to leave them on but you could try taking them off. My only question is what if the glue melts that I put the crayons on the canvas with while I am blow drying? haha I guess i'll figure that out!

    Thanks for stopping by!
